Seborrheic dermatitis :
It has the irritating condition for the people in their oily skin and they are more likely to have dandruff. This condition is one of the most frequent causes of dandruff, is marked by red, greasy skin covered with flaky white or yellow scales. Seborrheic dermatitis affects many areas of the skin, including the backs of the ears, the breastbone, eyebrows, and sides of the nose. Seborrheic dermatitis is closely related to the Malassezia, a fungus that normally lives on the scalp and feeds on the oils that the hair follicles secrete.
Not enough hair brushing or shampooing :
Combing or brushing the hair regularly reduces the risk of dandruff because it aids in the normal shedding of skin also If you don’t wash regularly your hair, oils and skin cells from your scalp can build up, causing dandruff.
Dry skin :
Flakes from dry skin are small and less oily than those from other causes of dandruff. And, redness or inflammation is unlikely. Generally, you have dry skin on other parts of the body, such as your legs and arms, too.
Sensitivity to hair care products (contact dermatitis) :
Sometimes sensitivities to certain element in hair care products or hair dyes can cause a red, itchy, scaly scalp.
